Diário de bordo, Rodrigo Mattos: A cidade das bicicletas
2016 foi um ano peculiar. Para muitos, um ano para esquecer, para outros, inesquecível. Para mim, foi um grande ano! Apesar de ter motivos para me lamentar, mas escapar ileso de um desmoronamento e conhecer Copenhagen, são motivos suficientes para agradecer!
Conhecer Copenhagen, participando de um Master Class sobre infraestrutura urbana, voltado para o ciclismo, foi fundamental para minha dissertação de mestrado e acabei colocando a cidade como um dos lugares que preciso voltar. Adorei a cidade, o povo, seus costumes, sua educação e civilidade.
Um pouco do que aprendi e vivenciei está no vídeo em anexo, foi uma semana de muito pedal, novas amizades, novas experiências, uma nova concepção sobre a cultura ciclística e como fazer para difundir essa cultura sem perder a identidade local.

2016 was a peculiar year. For many, an year to forget, for others, unforgettable. For me, a great year! Despite having enough reasons to lament, but to scape without injuries of a crumbling building and having the opportunity to travel to Copenhagen, are enough reasons to be thankful!
To be in Copenhagen, participating in a Master Class about urban infrastructure, focused in cycling, was fundamental for my masters dissertation and I put the city as a place I must go back to. Loved the city, its people, its manners, its education and civility.
A little of what I've learned and lived is on the attached video, it was a week of lots to pedal, new friends, new experiences, a new understanding of cycling culture and how to do to spread this culture without losing the local identity.
